Full time office practice

Electronic Health record shared with group . Call Schedule will be 1 in 6

(Currently 1 in 4) . Round on own patients during the week . With or without

OB. Spinal Manipulation Interest Accepted . 20-25 pt per day

1.  Board certified/eligible Family Practice Physician.

2.  No history of malpractice, license suspension or disciplinary actions.

3.  In practice no more than 13 years.

4.  With OB is a plus.

The Clinical Services Director is responsible for all matters pertaining to clinical planning, implementation and coordination of clinical services at HNBHS, works closely with the Executive Director to accomplish Hope Network Behavioral Health Services� goals, objectives and strategic plans. Represents the company at various community activities.

� Oversees and monitors all evidence based practices and assures fidelity to all clinical practices at HNBHS.
� Provides oversight of Behavior Management meetings to include the development of the challenging case review format.
� Monitors psycho-social programming in each program and makes recommendations for milieu treatment, provides training and guidance on milieu treatment to all staff.
� Works collaboratively with the entire administrative team.
� Oversees the movement along the behavioral health residential treatment continuum, working with case management to assure prompt, fluid and seamless transition of individuals from one program to next or to community placement, including identifying and resolving (with case management and clinical teams as assigned) barriers to movement.
� Participates in the development and implementation of new evidence-based practices.
� Develops and oversees the ongoing clinical training of the clinical team (continuing education).
� Represents the company at various community activities. Serves as a liaison with community agencies regarding Hope Network Behavioral Health Services' clinical services.
� Interacts with Network180 at appropriate levels.
� Coordinates the placement and supervision clinical student interns.
� Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all clinical problems or unusual matters of significance and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action, which may be taken.
� Ensures adherence to CARF standards as well as standards of funding agencies and licensing bodies.
� Demonstrates a commitment to clinical excellence and quality improvement.

� Works directly with Medical director on all clinical practices, policies and pharmacological concerns.

Position Requirements - Essential
1. MSW, MA, MS or equivalent from an accredited University or College. Major area of study should be in a relevant clinical area such as: social work, psychology, counseling or a directly related field. Experience or a minor in administration is desirable.
2. Clinical licensure as a psychologist, social worker, or counselor in Michigan
3. Five years relevant experience working with the mentally ill population and at least one year in a supervisory or leadership role.
4. Knowledge and experience with therapeutic techniques appropriate to target population.
5. Extensive knowledge of network180 and resources.
6. Thorough understanding of community based residential programming abilities and needs.

Summary of Responsibilities

Responsible for providing designated services to assigned individuals. Services may include: preliminary screening of individual needs for OT intervention, ADL evaluation and training, clinical evaluation participation of given assessments and treatment, design and implementation of treatment techniques in accordance with established goals, maintaining accurate data and treatment records accounting for treatment activities, effective representation of a consumer�s functional level in written and verbal reports, student education, and participation of departmental and clinic maintenance. Responsible to adhere to established standards determined by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc. in all areas of individual intervention and hold valid Michigan registration.

Essential Requirements:

1. Graduate of an accredited NBCOT approved program recognized by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc. and a valid Michigan registration
2. Successful completion of the certification to be an Occupational Therapy Assistant
3. Ability to work flexible hours and manage an irregular schedule based on program needs
4. Valid Michigan driver�s license with driving record acceptable according to Hope Network policy
5. Demonstrated ability to represent Hope Network appropriately in the community
6. Well-developed interpersonal skills to work with individuals, employer, and other professionals
7. Ability to transport individuals in the Hope Network vehicles
8. Ability to work independently
9. Ability to articulate and actively support the mission of the corporation to various audiences
10. Minimum of one year of experience working with brain injuries, medical rehabilitation or in a related field
11. Physical ability to complete job duties
12. Experience with sensory integration and sensory defensiveness
13. Demonstrated ability to transfer individuals using proper transfer techniques and proper body mechanics.

Preferred Position Requirements:

Clinical experience treating adults with brain injury or other disabilities, some adolescent experience.
Demonstrated clinical skills in areas of assessment, treatment planning, and implementation.
Willingness to travel to other sites to provide coverage.
High degree of independence/clinical problem solving skills.
