Overview:

Kelly Automotive Services Group is currently seeking to fill an opportunity for a Pea Tool Install Group Engineer located in Lake Orion, MI.

MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Initiate, develop, plan, schedule and coordinate installation of Body Shop tooling
Develop specifications, contract documents and schedules
Generate technical reports, management reports and correspondence
Prepare appropriate requests, provide estimates, control project funds and provide economic assessments and recommendations
Monitor and evaluate project progress to schedule. Provide any required corrective action.
Provide technical assistance to plant staffs
Coordinate project activities with Tooling Engineers, Tooling Integrators, plant personnel, Conveyor Engineers, Facilities Engineers, suppliers, subcontractors, etc.
Ensure that all contract changes are documented and that the proper change control procedures are followed
Ensure that all contract requirements at the tool build source and at the installation site are fulfilled

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Experience in design and development of specifications and schedules
Six years of direct experience in automotive body shops

REQUIRED EDUCATION/TRAINING:
